About Head Concepts

Head Concepts is a family-owned 3D printing shop and activity center in Billings, MT. We run a big 3D printer farm, host fun creative events, and help families, kids, and makers bring their ideas to life. Think: 3D pen classes, “Print & Paint” nights, custom prints, and way too many cool toys and models on display.

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, creative person to become the face of our events and help us grow our community.

The 3D Printing Events & Community Coordinator will:

• Host and teach our in-store events (3D pen classes, Print & Paint, and similar workshops)
• Help plan and run our table at local craft fairs and community events
• Capture simple photo/video content during events for social media
• Make guests feel welcome, supported, and excited to come back

No 3D printing experience? That’s okay—we can teach you. We’re mostly looking for someone who loves people, isn’t afraid to lead a group, and enjoys creative, hands-on activities.

Events & Classes

• Set up, host, and clean up 3D pen classes and Print & Paint sessions
• Help guests (kids, parents, and adults) feel confident using pens, paints, and basic tools
• Follow simple class outlines and suggest fun ideas to improve the experience
• Keep the space tidy, stocked, and ready between sessions

Craft Fairs & Pop-Ups

• Represent Head Concepts at craft fairs and markets
• Set up our display table, talk with visitors, and explain what we do
• Collect emails, answer basic questions, and help book people for classes or custom work

Social Media & Content

• Take behind-the-scenes photos and short videos during events
• Capture “before and after” shots of prints and painted pieces
• Share ideas for fun posts, reels, or stories that show off what’s happening in the shop

• You enjoy working with kids and families
• You’re comfortable leading small groups or teaching simple activities
• You’re friendly, patient, and good at explaining things step by step
• You like crafts, art, or creative projects (painting, DIY, etc.)
• You’re comfortable using a smartphone to take photos/video and post content
• You’re available for evening and weekend events on a regular basis

Bonus points (not required):

• Experience in teaching, childcare, camps, art classes, or recreation programs
• Comfort being on camera for short videos or live demos
• Any experience with 3D printing, crafting, or makerspaces
