Job Responsibilities Prosecute criminal cases from intake through final disposition. Evaluate cases to determine appropriate legal actions. Implement Office policies as directed. Conduct investigations. Respond effectively to complex legal issues in oral and written formats. Handle a high volume of cases efficiently. Perform all duties as assigned. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree required. Minimum of three (3) years of criminal law and litigation experience. US Citizenship and New York State Residency required on the first day of employment. Member in good standing of the NY State Bar. Ability to conduct resourceful investigations and exercise good judgment. Strong litigation, communication, and ethical skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and solve issues analytically. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including nights, holidays, and weekends. Additional Information Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness and other repayment programs. Residency in New York State is required on the first day of employment.
