Bilingual Collections Agent – French & English
We are seeking a Bilingual Collections Agent to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for securing billing payments from customers and maintaining positive client relationships while managing overdue accounts.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers regarding unpaid accounts (via phone, email, or mail)
Receive and post payments to customer accounts
Advise and follow up with customers on outstanding balances
Initiate repossession proceedings or service disconnections when necessary
Maintain accurate records and account status updates in the system
Qualifications:
Bilingual in French and English (verbal & written)
2–3 years of collections or call centre experience
Experience with SAP, accounts receivable, credit collections, and invoicing
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous experience in billing, customer service, or a related field
Strong ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills
