We’re Hiring: Bookkeeper for a Small Tigard Law Firm

We’re a small, professional law firm in Tigard looking for an experienced bookkeeper to keep our financial operations running like clockwork. If you’re someone who’s organized, accurate, and knows how to handle bookkeeping in a service-based business, this might be your perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Making deposits and applying fees/costs to client accounts
• Managing accounts payable and client-related invoices
• Entering time entries and preparing monthly billing
• Reconciling all bank accounts every month—no exceptions
• Processing credit card transactions
• Running payroll and handling all payroll tax filings and payments
• Keeping accounts clean with monthly reconciliations and analysis
• Setting up new employees and enrolling them in benefits
• Prepping year-end documents for our tax accountant
• Preparing the firm’s annual 401(k) report

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
• Have a 2-year Accounting degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper —ideally in a law firm or professional services setting
• Are organized, accurate, and don’t miss the small stuff
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills, both with clients and coworkers
• Are comfortable in Microsoft Office (especially Word)
• Bonus: You’ve worked with PC Law
