Are you a 2D drafting pro with a passion for precision? Do you love turning ideas into detailed technical drawings?

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Ray Township, MI looking to add a CAD Drafter to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to create detailed 2D drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD for building projects. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

• Prepare 2D drawings and technical documents using AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Use Revit to create and modify detailed BIM models for architectural and structural projects
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Interpret construction documents, blueprints, and field data
• Update drawings based on project revisions and client feedback
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
• Assist in coordinating models and resolving design conflicts within the BIM environment

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in CAD drafting, with a strong emphasis on 2D design
• Proficient in both Revit and AutoCAD
• Hands-on experience with BIM models in architectural or construction settings
• Solid knowledge of construction documents, building systems, and drafting standards
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
