Amergis Staffing is currently hiring experienced and qualified Registered Nurses (RN) for correctional opportunities with the NC Department of Adult Corrections (NCDAC).
Schedule:
Day & Night Shifts Available
Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Rotation: 36/48-hour rotating schedule with every other weekend off
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals.
Administer medications, monitor patient health, and respond to emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to NCDAC protocols.
Requirements
Active RN license in North Carolina.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
Preferred: Experience with NCDAC and/or corrections nursing.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
