Now Hiring: Lead, Deli (Front-of-House)
Do you love good food, great people, and fast-paced days? The Boise Co-op is looking for a Front-of-House Deli Lead to bring energy, organization, and leadership to our bustling deli counter.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping things smooth and customer-friendly. You’ll support the team, guide daily operations, and help make sure everyone—from customers to coworkers—leaves with a smile.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading by example—jumping in on all FOH tasks and supporting the team throughout the day.

• Coaching, training, and checking in with deli staff to keep service sharp and standards high.

• Creating a welcoming, efficient, and safe environment for both customers and coworkers.

• Making sure shelves and displays are full, fresh, and look great.

• Communicating clearly with the back-of-house team about production and product needs.

• Monitoring food safety, cleanliness, and daily operations to ensure everything’s running smoothly.

• Helping with scheduling, staffing needs, and communicating updates via Microsoft Teams and email.

• Completing other tasks as assigned by department leadership.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

• Know what great customer service looks like and how to deliver it every time.

• Have experience leading or mentoring in retail, food service, or hospitality.

• Are organized, responsible, and a strong communicator.

Requirements:

• Experience in food service, grocery, or customer service preferred.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Teams).

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, mornings, and evenings.

• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and move safely in a busy store environment.
