Border Bound is an industry leader in transportation managed services, customer service, and carrier relationships. We are seeking a motivated, efficient, and highly organized logistics coordinator/dispatcher to join our growing team of professionals. To be successful in this position, you must manage multiple priorities, be an excellent negotiator, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact at various levels within the organization, as well as directly with clients and carriers.

Responsibilities;

• Liaise with the sales team to fulfill their customers' needs and shipment requirements
• Monitor, trace, and update customers on various shipments from pickup through delivery
• Provide quotes to customers and agents
• Negotiate rates with carriers
• Sound knowledge of logistics processes and document requirements
• Exceptional customer service; focused on customer support
• Attention to detail and thorough, accurate data entry
• Ability to identify/manage risks and opportunities during the order process to maximize returns
• Have experience dealing with customs brokers and cross-border shipments

Requirements;

• 2 years of work experience in transportation or logistics dispatch
• Strong Math ability/skills
• Logical reasoning
• Keen attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently, and also under supervision
• Cross-border shipment experience
