Position Purpose:
This hybrid Industrial Mechanic and Electrical Technician position requires an intermediate level of expertise to install, maintain, and repair both mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a combination of mechanical and electrical skills including responding to work orders, performing emergency and preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. Working under minimal supervision as part of a self-directed work team, this is a multi-craft role. A good working knowledge of all types of equipment related to maintenance and operations is essential. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a strong blend of electrical expertise and mechanical aptitude and able to identify and correct safety issues, perform independent equipment evaluations to prevent failures, and provide instruction and assistance to other technicians.
