Event: Candlelight Concert Series Classical String Quartet Performance with 2,000 Candles

Locations:

• U-Haul Moving & Storage of Pittsburgh, 3000 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15201
  (Event Lead + 2 Event Staff, 1:45 PM 10:45 PM)
• 530 William Penn Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
  (All remaining Event Staff & Assistant Event Lead)

Schedule & Roles:

• Event Lead: 1:45 PM 11:45 PM
• Assistant Event Lead: 2:45 PM 11:45 PM
• Event Staff (2 positions): 1:45 PM 10:45 PM
• Event Staff (4 positions): 2:45 PM 11:45 PM

Position Overview

We are hiring Event Staff, an Event Lead, and an Assistant Event Lead to join our team for the Candlelight Concert Series in Pittsburgh. This elegant event features a classical string quartet performance surrounded by the glow of 2,000 candles. Our team will oversee event operations from setup to breakdown , ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and performers.

Responsibilities

Setup (Pre-Show):

• Arrange and place candles throughout the venue.
• Assist with setup of venue operations and guest areas.
• Support the Event Lead with assigned tasks.

Showtime (During Event):

• Warmly greet and welcome guests.
• Scan tickets and manage guest check-in.
• Usher attendees to their seats and provide event information.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Deliver a 5-star guest experience throughout the evening.

Breakdown (Post-Show):

• Safely pack and organize candles and event materials.
• Prepare supplies for use at the next event.
• Assist with closing duties under the Event Leads direction.

Requirements

• Ability to perform manual labor (lifting, carrying, setup, breakdown).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Must wear all black attire for the event.
• Previous event experience is helpful but not required.

Compensation

• Event Staff: $18.00/hour
• Assistant Event Lead: $20.00/hour
• Event Lead: $22.00/hour
