Job Description

Maryville  is seeking a full time Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. Maryville is located in Beaverton on the tree-lined, 43-acre campus of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon. It is highly rated, well-staffed, and freshly updated to provide an environment of peace and healing for those who need round-the-clock care.

As a Maryville Housekeeper, you wil work with a team of professionals that provide high quality services to the 165 bed nursing home and 16 bed RCF memory care unit.

Schedule:
This is a full time position, scheduled 37.5 hours per week. Schedule rotates days from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Must be available to work rotating weekends. 

What You'll Do:
  • Clean common areas, resident's rooms and bathrooms; including: Vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting, and mopping floors.
  • Ensure each resident's room is cleaned based on the resident's needs.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues.
  • You may keep track of cleaning supplies and request refills or replacements when necessary.
  • You will be standing or walking the majority of your shift, and need the ability to lift, bend, reach and twist as necessary.
What You'll Need:
  • Understand oral & written communication, and a willingness to follow instructions.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and respectfully with Maryville Residents, their guests, and other staff. 
  • Ability to pass the criminal background check required of all campus employees. 
  • Able to lift 35 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally.
 
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in Environmental cleaning and sanitation in the healthcare industry.
