UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is seeking a Part Time Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher) to support the Food Services department!

\n

This position will work rotating shifts. This role must be able to work every other weekend and holiday, and the preferred candidate will have flexibility. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.

\n

The Kitchen Steward is a dishwashing/sanitation position. They maintain the standards of housekeeping and sanitation in production, service, dining, and storage areas. They also maintain the department in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with Health Department guidelines.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.

\n
• Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures. Adheres to recycling guidelines.

\n
• Cleans and maintains floors and walls in designated food service areas following established procedures.

\n
• Consistently adheres to SDS information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.

\n
• Assist in serving food and beverages to the residents in the dining room

\n
• Uses and maintains equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines; follows all safety procedures.

\n

· Kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred.

\n

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

· Act 34
