We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team in providing support to individuals battling substance abuse in a detox facility.

• Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering counseling through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques such as CBT and motivational interviewing, monitor client progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and maintain confidential records compliant with HIPAA.
• Stay informed on current research and best practices in substance abuse treatment.
  Requirements include an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related fields, relevant certification or licensure, and proven counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapies, group facilitation, and co-occurring disorders is essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team are required.
• Must be willing to relocate to Las Vegas, NM prior to starting.
