Job Summary: This role is for a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in an Emergency Room setting. The LMSW will provide inpatient acute care, case management, and support services to patients across various units, including ICU, PCU, ED, and Family Birth. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience and involves floating between units to meet facility needs. Location: Olympia, Washington, United States., Responsibilities: - Providing inpatient acute care social work services. - Case management for patients in the Emergency Department and other units. - Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. - Assessing patient needs and developing treatment plans. - Providing psychosocial support to patients and families. - Floating between ICU, PCU, ED, and Family Birth units as needed. - Completing all required documentation. Required Skills & Certifications: - Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license. - Minimum two years of inpatient acute care experience. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Washington State RN license or compact license. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR). Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Certified Case Manager (CCM) or ACM certification. - Familiarity with Milliman Guidelines or InterQual Criteria. Special Considerations: - Floating between units (ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth) is required. - Weekend work is required (every other weekend). - 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. - No on-call requirements. - 50-mile radius rule for travel. - No pending licenses accepted. - Return to work (RTO) restrictions are flexible, but preference is for under seven days. Scheduling: - Three 12-hour shifts per week. - Variable schedule. - Every other weekend required. - Shift assignments determined by facility needs.
