Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Job Description

We are currently seeking two skilled Low Voltage Technicians to perform installations at Riverside Medical Center. The role involves working on access control systems and security camera installations. The ideal candidate should be DCJS certified and have substantial experience in low voltage electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform low voltage electrical installations at Riverside Medical Center.
• Install and troubleshoot access control systems, including card readers, locks, and hardware.
• Install security camera systems efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer service skills.
• Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.

• DCJS certification is required; candidates should be certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in construction, particularly in pulling wire and terminating CAT 5/6 cables.
• Proficiency in using multi-meters and installing security camera systems.
• Experience in commercial/marine environments is required.

• Experience in coaxial cable installations.
• Knowledge of alarm systems and low voltage security installations.
• Strong understanding of access control technologies.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
