Position Overview: Join our growing healthcare documentation team as a Medical Transcriptionist. Youll play a vital role in converting physicians voice recordings (history & physicals, operative reports, consultations, discharge summaries, etc.) into accurate, well-formatted written reports that become part of the permanent patient record. Key Responsibilities: 1. Listen to dictated recordings from physicians and other healthcare providers 2. Transcribe and edit reports with high accuracy while following client-specific style guidelines 3. Research correct medical terminology, drug names, and procedures as needed 4. Flag and escalate any unclear or critical dictation for clarification 5. Meet daily productivity and quality standards (typically 98%+ accuracy) Requirements: 1. Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology 2. Strong typing speed (65+ WPM) and listening skills 3. Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment Schedule & Hours: 1. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available 2. Multiple shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends (great for work-life balance) 3. Statutory holidays off on most accounts Perks & Benefits: 1.
