We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Medical Unit Support Assistant to provide essential administrative and patient support services in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, with experience in medical environments and a passion for helping patients navigate their healthcare journey.
📍 Location: Los Angeles, CA
⏰ Shifts: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM OR 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (rotating weekends & holidays)
💲 Pay: $25/hour (Evening shift)
💼 Role: Unit Support Assistant
What You'll Do:
🏥 Provide clerical support in a medical setting, including handling patient charts, records, and documentation
📋 Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and directing inquiries
🗣️ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in both English and Spanish
📞 Handle phone calls and coordinate with medical staff
💻 Support administrative tasks and data entry
🤝Support clinical teams to maintain efficient unit workflow
What We're Looking For:
✅ Minimum 1 year of clerical experience in a medical setting
✅ Bilingual in Spanish (required)
✅ Available to work rotating weekends and holidays
✅ Must pass a drug test and background check
✅ Must provide copies of personal documents and references
✅ Must have recent immunizations, TB test, and other required health clearances
