Join Our Team as a Physician in Psychiatry!

Are you a board-certified psychiatrist looking for an exciting opportunity in Gainesville, Florida ? We invite you to be part of a dynamic team providing inpatient and intensive outpatient care while also shaping the next generation of psychiatrists through academic teaching.

Your Role:

In this position, you will enjoy a 7-on/7-off schedule with manageable call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will collaborate within a comprehensive behavioral health center that serves a diverse patient population, all while holding an academic appointment through the University of Florida's College of Medicine .

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in inpatient consults and focus on the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) .
• Supervise 3-4 psychiatry residents and participate in structured didactics.
• Maintain a 1:5 call schedule with 24/7 resident coverage.
• Contribute to a comprehensive behavioral health center with multiple service lines.
• Fulfill core faculty teaching responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Board certification in psychiatry is required.
• An active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one promptly.
