Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Plumbing Technician to join our team. The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a professional attitude that reflects our company’s commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair residential and/or commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, water heaters, sewer lines, and fixtures.
Perform installation of pipes, fittings, valves, and plumbing systems according to local codes and regulations.
Conduct inspections, maintenance, and testing of plumbing systems to ensure safe operation.
Accurately explain plumbing issues, recommended solutions, and pricing to customers in clear, professional terms.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and material usage.
Collaborate with dispatchers, sales associates, and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and plumbing codes.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and working condition.
Provide outstanding customer service to build trust and long-term client relationships.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a plumbing technician or apprentice.
Valid plumbing license or certification (state-specific requirements may apply).
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights.
Ability to bend, crouch, climb, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
