About The Job This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate, creative and technical Principal Sound Designer to join our in-house audio team and help create world-class audio on a new and exciting open-world AAA game. The primary focus will be on sound design, sound systems and implementation, collaborating with sound and other disciplinary teams to deliver sonically rich, high-quality AAA audio. Location and Employment Location: Irvine, CA / Bellevue, WA Employment type: Full-Time Pay: $128,700 - $299,500/year Responsibilities Lead sound design and development for an open-world AAA game. Design, implement and refine sound systems and audio implementation. Collaborate with sound and other disciplinary teams to achieve high-quality audio outcomes. Qualifications Must have 5+ years of professional experience in AAA game audio with a minimum of one AAA title shipped as Sound Designer or equivalent. Proficiency in at least one DAW (preferably Nuendo or Reaper; ProTools as a secondary option) is required. Experience with music editing and implementation of interactive music is desirable.
