Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the labor and delivery process, ensuring that both mothers and newborns receive the highest standard of care. This position requires a blend of technical skills, customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare professionals during labor and delivery procedures. Prepare and maintain the delivery room, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and sterile. Monitor vital signs of both mother and baby during labor. Provide support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and care delivery. Load and unload medical supplies as needed for deliveries. Drive company vehicles, including box trucks or vans, to transport medical supplies to various locations as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and patient care activities. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in labor and delivery or maternal health. Skills in commercial driving, including experience with manual transmission vehicles, are highly desirable. Background in customer service to effectively interact with patients and families. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures. Experience as a delivery driver or courier is a plus.
