Japanese bilingual Sales Representative at an established international manufacturing company

• Direct hire/Exempt
• Full benefit
• Hybrid schedule – 1 day in the office in Somerset, NJ
• Salary $62500/yr.

Requirements of the Sales Representative:

• Bilingual in Japanese and English
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
• Entry-level welcome
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must have effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift (up to 50lb)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Must show proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and functional groups
• Be able to go on business trips
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with valid Auto Insurance, and be able to travel long distances
• Occasionally, on weekends, attending food events

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative:

General descriptions:

Creating, executing, and/or maintaining sales activities for existing and/or prospective customers in distributors, retailers, food services, and restaurants.

Principal tasks: (Not limited to:)

• Follow sales plans and promotions to reach goals
• Keep good relationships with current customers and find new ones
• Handle orders, payments, and customer records
• Help customers with shipping, payments, and complaints
• Join team meetings and share customer feedback
• Support brand at local events and food shows
• Work with the Sales Manager to meet team goals and give great service
• Handle additional tasks as needed

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
