Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Birmingham, AL, seeks a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students through a contract position. This role requires a professional with valid Alabama School Psychologist licensure who will provide essential psychological services to students, staff, and families within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to promote student success and well-being.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
• Support behavioral interventions and consultation within classrooms.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Alabama School Psychologist licensure is required.
• Experience working with K-12 student populations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to conduct assessments and interpret results effectively.

Position Details:

• Location: Birmingham, AL
• Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
• Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
