About the Role

Join a high-impact product development team building custom features for ServiceNow University on the NOW Platform. This is not an administration or configuration role, it is pure custom development . You will design and code scoped applications, advanced Service Portal widgets, UI Builder components, REST integrations, and automation flows at scale.

This is a rare opportunity to work inside ServiceNow itself on one of its premier user-facing offerings. Expect rigorous technical interviews by ServiceNow engineers focused on deep coding skills, scalability, and integration patterns.

What We're Looking For

We need senior-level developers who can:

• Build custom scoped applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow scripting.
• Develop Service Portal widgets and UI Builder components with reusable, scalable design.
• Implement REST API integrations and leverage Flow Designer for automation.
• Work with Now Assist (ServiceNow's AI capabilities) or ramp up quickly.
• Write complex JavaScript on demand , including advanced patterns for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize code for Internet-facing apps at scale .

Must-Have Qualifications

• 6+ years ServiceNow development experience (custom development, not admin/config).
• Strong experience with:
  • Custom Scoped App development
  • Service Portal & UI Builder (custom widgets/components)
  • REST API integrations & Flow Designer automation
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) , AngularJS, and React.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns , and performance considerations.
• Hands-on experience with development tools (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances).

Nice-to-Have

• ServiceNow CAD certification .
• Experience with Now Assist and AI-driven features.
