Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)  Outpatient Rehabilitation | Full-Time | Corning, NY

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments based on physician referrals
• Design and implement individualized, patient-centered treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders
• Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and treatment goals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education programs, and departmental meetings
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative speech-language pathology services

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Eligible for New York State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and registration
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or CFY candidates eligible to obtain certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of hospital-based or outpatient clinical experience
• Experience working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan
• New graduates and Clinical Fellows are strongly encouraged to apply
