From our gift shop filled with unique Alaska finds and pharmacy over-the-counters, to our classic soda fountain , to our photo department helping to print important memories, we are dedicated to delivering excellent service and creating lasting impressions.
We are seeking a Store Manager to lead our team and oversee day-to-day operations across all departments (minus pharmacy). This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building strong teams, ensuring smooth operations, and creating an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members across the gift shop, soda fountain, and photo department.
• Create, publish, and manage staff schedules to meet business needs.
• Foster a positive and professional team culture through clear communication, coaching, and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor daily operations, address challenges, and implement process improvements as needed.
• Assist with managing inventory, ordering, and merchandising for the gift shop and soda fountain.
• Uphold quality standards in guest service, product presentation, and cleanliness.
• Serve as the key liaison between staff, upper management, and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or a related management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational skills, including scheduling, inventory, and multitasking.
• Hands-on problem solver with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (POS systems, scheduling software, email).
