divh2Systems Administrator/h2pHuntington Ingalls Industries, Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate works well in an agile, fast moving culture and has a fundamental passion and curiosity to learn./ppEssential Job Responsibilities:/pulliMaintain development systems (i.e. security patches, kernel updates, OS updates)./liliUse procedures to perform identification, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of hardware failures and restore system capability to operations./liliProvide administrator support (User creation/deletion, security group management, storage media permissions, shared resources configuration)./liliManage transferring of data between networks as needed/liliPurchase and configure PCs for new personnel./liliPurchase and maintain printer toner inventory, replacing cartridges when needed./liliMaintain system documentation and inventory database./liliPerform other infrastructure maintenance tasks as required./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulli0 years experience with Bachelors in related IT/Computer field of study or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience./liliCurrent CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred at time of hire OR ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date/liliKnowledge of Active Directory, Windows OS, Windows Server OS/liliBasic understanding of OSI networking model/liliMust be able to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs./liliMust be able to climb rung ladders and work in confined areas./liliMust be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks/liliMinimum Secret clearance is required to start/li/ulpPreferred Requirements:/pulliExperience configuring and managing VPN connections to remote sites./liliOther IT/technical certifications than listed above./liliExperience working in classified environments./liliExperience working with NIPR, SIPR, other DoD networks./liliExperience with different databases, including working knowledge of SQL, relational data stores./liliExperience with Linux OS./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/ppAdequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline./ppTogether we are working to ensure a future where everyone can be free and thrive.
