Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health Hospice for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work weekend program every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
\n• Remote field work visiting patients in their homes and various community settings
\n• 5-6 patient visits per 8-hour shift
\n• Provide hospice services including daily end-of-life visits, PRN visits for symptom management, and occasional stable routine visits
\n• Not a case management position and does not carry a caseload
\n• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS and state nursing license
\n• Must have IV skills, chest tube maintenance/pleurex drain experience, catheter insertion, tube feedings, and triage skills
\n• Experience with wound care, wound vac, PIV, midline, and central line procedures required
\n• Competency with end-of-life care including pain and symptom management
\n• Experience with opioids and opioid equianalgesic table required
\n• Must be comfortable with independent critical thinking and problem-solving
\n• Documentation required on EMR platform (EPIC Hyperspace/ClinDoc)
\n• Navy blue scrub color required
\n• Orientation includes equipment pick-up, online training, EPIC training, and 3-5 precepted shifts

\nThis healthcare organization operates hospice services providing end-of-life care for patients with life expectancy of six months or less. The facility includes an 18-bed inpatient hospice unit and extensive remote home care services. The organization serves patients with various diagnoses including 40% cancer cases and 60% other medical conditions, providing comprehensive hospice care in community settings including homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and nursing homes.
