LanceSoft is seeking a travel Medical Lab Scientist Manager for a travel job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Working with the Laboratory Medical Director and Administrative Director, the Scientific and Technical Manager is responsible for:
The scientific oversight of all laboratory testing
Has oversight of the Laboratory Quality Improvement Program.
This position maintains relationships with pathologists and medical staff to ensure laboratory results are of appropriate utilization for patients while having direct responsibility over assigned clinical departments.
Along with all Lab management, develops long and short-range plans, strategic business growth, expansion, and diversification that supports BMC plan and Ancillary Services operational plans.
Participates in the teaching of the Medical Technology Students.
Requirements:
5 years+ current experience in approved laboratory NON-NEGOTIABLE
2+ years current experience in Management Role NON-NEGOTIABLE
Experience in developing and implementing new tests or protocols required
Experience in developing quality management programs required.
Master of Science degree (or higher) REQUIRED PhD Preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Must have ability and education to perform high-complexity laboratory testing
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement
